Autumnal Equinoctial Tourney -- Barony of Madrone
September 24, 1972

From The Page (August/September, 1972):

The Barony of Madrone will hold an Autumnal Equinoctial Tourney (Seattle weather and other powers-that-be permitting) in Ravenna Park in Seattle on 24 September 1972. In addition to the usual fighting and games there will be a cookery contest featuring mushrooms--pickled, stewed, baked, or whatever'd. The Autocrat is Bill Broxon, but for further information call Pat Clifton at (phone omitted), as the Autocrat is in the mundane world a doctor and thus difficult to reach.

From the History (by Wilhelm):

Held in Ravenna Park, Seattle, WA. Liam of the Barque was the autocrat. There was a cooking contest for a dish containing mushrooms. On September 1, Jay of the Woods was appointed Procurator for the Registry in the Baronies of Madrone and Three Mountains.
