VERY BELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE BARONY OF MADRONE
The Barony of Madrone will hold a Spring Tourney on April 29 in the University of Washington Arboretum. Set-up from 10:30, events begin at noon, and decamping and clean-up half an hour before dusk. Activities will include medieval games, weapons instruction, initiation and practice for prospective fighters leading to eliminations and challenges; skits by the Order of Motley; dancing; juggling; wenching race; balls (no, this is a forerunner of lawn bowling); stilt races.
