Posted on Facebook, SCA Kingdom of the West Page, April 19, 2017:
On Sunday April 17, representatives from KHTI informed Us at the Kingdom Officers Meeting that the Beltane site was not currently usable. Rain and ground conditions had prevented the grading, leveling, and graveling needed to make the site accessible. There was a possibility that these actions could be completed before Beltane but further rain would prevent that. Her Majesty and I decided that this was an unacceptable risk. Beltane had to be moved to another location. We instructed the Seneschal to investigate other locations. That search is ongoing. We will make an announcement when the new site is confirmed.
If you have any suggestions for potential sites, please contact the Kingdom Seneschal, Francisco (Ken Flores)
We appreciate your patience.

As many have heard, the site we were planning on using for Beltane is not in a condition that we can currently use it. Over the past week, many of you have donated your time and energy into finding us a new site on extremely short notice.
The efforts of this Kingdom were not in vain. I am pleased to say that we have spoken to the Bar SZ Ranch, and they are willing to host us again this year.
Contracts and checks and privies and the like will be ordered this week. I would like to thank you all for your patience and I would like to apologize for the inconvenience of the change of venues.
To everyone who has made phone calls, suggested sites, physically gone out to sites this past week, thank you for you service.
Please distribute this information with everyone that you can, facebook ground and yahoo groups. This is a primitive site, please bring your own water. The Stables are already in use, so we are not planning on having any equestrian activities at this time.
Changes to the Kingdom Webpage will be made to reflect this announcement shortly.
