The Fifty-First Year

Investiture -- Principality of the Mists

November 5, 2016 (AS LI)

Santa Cruz Masonic Lodge,
Santa Cruz, CA

From the November Page:

Their Highnesses Geoffrey and Catherine invite you to witness the Investiture of Their heirs, Antonii and Helga. More information about the days’ festivities and schedule will be announced as it is made available. Arts and Sciences activities planned for the day include the competitions:

Fine Art: Something that can be worn on an arm or hand, any media/time/place. Rings, gloves, bracers, sleeves, favors. If I don’t get any entries for this, I’ll be very disappointed!

Fine Art: Something painted - judging the paint here, not the object.

Additionally, there will be display tables at this event. Show us what you’ve finished, what you’re working on, etc. This is a great chance to lure in new people. Once they see the cool stuff we have or can make it’s easy to start up a conversation with them, and get them excited about joining us.

In the evening, a spectacular feast will be served to celebrate the new Prince and Princess.

Autocrat: Rose de LeMans (contact info ommited)

Head Cooks: Juan Santiago and Rose de LeMans (contact info ommited)

Registration: Adult Event Registration: $20, Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $15, Children (Ages 13-17): $10, Children (Ages 12 and under): Free, Family Cap: $40.

Feast tickets are $14 per person, checks should be made payable to “SCA – Principality of the Mists”. Tickets for the feast will be on sale at events and by mail from the autocrat, and must be purchased in advance. Mail Feast Ticket Request, with SASE, to: (contact info ommited).
