The Fiftieth Year

Championship Tourney -- Champclair

March 5, 2016 (AS L)

Heritage Park,
Suisun City, CA

From The Page (February, 2016):

Greetings from the Shire of Champclair, within the Principality of Cynagua and the Kingdom of the West.

Bring your heart for fighting, your lungs for singing and stories, and your hands for art work to the Shire of Champclair's Championship come March 5! Welcome one and all to our Shire’s first championship in a very long time. We are hosting in the outer part of Cynagua’s Sable Wings as we are on the edge of the Mists lands. We will have a heavy fighting tourney, a bardic competition, and an arts and sciences competition. Each winner will receive a token to carry for one year as our champion. The heavy fighting tourney style will be determined based on attendance. The arts and sciences competition is open to all and the winner will be determined by populace vote. For Bardic, we ask that you prepare 2 pieces, one original piece and a 2nd cultural piece.

Fighters can compete for our championship or choose to fight for fun. Because hitting friends with sticks is fun, its exercise, its bonding, and it fulfills many New Year’s resolutions. Same goes for the arts and sciences and performance arts. JOIN ALL THREE COMPETITIONS!!!!!!!

Bring your own drinks and snack. Dry site, no alcohol. Playground for kids. Dog friendly, leash required. There will be on site bathrooms for duration of event.

Yours in Service, Lord Yoshi Shimizu (name Pending-Hosokawa Yoshitatsu)
