The Fiftieth Year

Yule Feast -- Allyshia

December 12, 2015 (AS L)

Eureka Masonic Lodge,
Eureka, CA

From The Page (December, 2015):

Yule is a time to celebrate the year ahead, remember the good times of the year before, and forgive and let go of the past. It is a time to come together with friends and family to share well wishes and relax. The Barony of Allyshia invites all to our Yule Feast for food, revelry, and fun!

During the day there will be ornament making, a Jul Log to carve (write with a sharpie) the bad things on from the past year (which will be burned after the event), and a White Elephant Gift Exchange ($20 limit and gifts should endeavor to be “SCA related”). Please bring any Arts & Science items you have made in the last year to display.

The Ottoman style feast will consist of eight courses. There will be flat breads, dips, fruits, salad with dressing, soup, chicken, pilaf, beef, cabbage, cheese, mint tea, nuts, lamb, vegetables, and dessert. Vegetarian and gluten free dishes will be available.

Reservations are requested but not required. Please notify the autocrat by December 1, 2015 if you are able to confirm your attendance.

*Volunteers for food service and clean up are greatly appreciated.*

Parking is on the street. The event is held upstairs. There is an elevator available for use by those in need (we try to limit use as an escort is required).
