Los Gatos History Club,
Los Gatos, CA
From The Page (January, 2015)
Good gentles, come dancing!
The 2015 Crosston Ball will occur on February 28th, from the hours of 1 PM to 10 PM (10-11 PM is reserved for cleanup), at the lovely History Club of Los Gatos. Classes will begin at 2 PM and continue to 5 PM, when we will pause for an informal potluck dinner (bring something, share with your friends!), and the ball itself will be 6-10 PM. There will be no theme, simply dancing, of all manners and types; from the flashing energy of Master Caroso's cascarde, to the serene elegance of the bassedances of Burgundy or the stately paces of England's Old Measures. A preliminary list of dances and classes can be found on our website. There will be no site fee; donations are, as always, greatly appreciated, but if one isn't financially practical that's fine! Come anyway! We want to dance with you! If you play an instrument, please feel free to bring it – the dance band would love to have you! Contact the autocrat for more details.
