From The Page (July, 2012):

Come join us as we explore the secretive world of the “Crypto-Jews” of Spain. The inspiration for the food is from a book called: A Drizzle Of Honey: The Lives And Recipes Of Spain’s Secret Jews. There will be a midday repast of Lamb & chickpea stew, along with snacks of cheese, nuts, olives, & fruit. The main meal will consist of Lettuce & Radish salad, Cabbage Soup, Roasted Chicken with fruit, Vegetarian Rice Pilaf, & a wonderful dessert. The meal has no beef or pork. At this event, we will have 3 competitions. One will be to fi nd our next Rapier Champion. Do you have what it takes? For our Bardic competition, you will need a fi lk, a “bard’s best” piece, & an original written on site (theme to be announced that day). We will also be holding an A&S competition.
