Estrella XXIX has a new vision; our focus is the embodiment of the esprit de corps of those who live this dream of yore. Whatever your dream embodies that excites your senses and tantalizes your ancestral soul, Estrella War provides you the means to experience it.
Since last Estrella War; Commanders have planned their strategies, fighters have drilled and honed their skills, archers their accuracy, Engineers have designed and built their siege machines, all for the moment when all things martial engage. Comrades in arms take the field against worthy opponents to test their metal for Crown and Kingdom.
A town square offers you a plethora of gentle pastimes; stroll the Merchant’s Row, sit and socialize over a meal or board game. Step up your game and bat about a shuttlecock, partake in a game or Bocci or Croquet. Special Events await you for both your viewing pleasure or participation, or take advantage of any of the services offered through Herald’s point, Chirurgeon Point, Volunteer & Hospitality Point, the Watch & Autocrat’s Point.
If the Arts and Sciences are your passion, the Estrella War offers you a deliciously rich choice of venues; Known World competition, an extensive collegium curriculum, and NEW this war: three-hour blocks of interactive demos. Three Artisan showcases (traditional, Laurels' and Masterpiece) await you. The Period Encampment is back now as the Medieval Village and gives you a unique opportunity to converse with artisans and craftsman as they ply their trades in the finest tradition of living historians.
In the cool of the evening Estrella War dresses up and everyone comes to the Town Square for the grandiose parties, dancing, entertainment and the splendor of the Grand Courts.
Pre-Registration has many benefits; you'll get to arrive on site on February 26, 2013 (which is a whole day sooner than general admission/registration). It’s a savings of $10 dollars, and the lines for pre-registration are shorter and quicker. This year you can still designate which group you wish to camp with, i. e., kingdom, barony, shire or college, or you can choose the category of “other”. This was specifically designed for groups/households that span many kingdoms and wish to camp together but not necessary with any particular kingdom.
We the Mains, Baroness Magdalen Venturosa, Mistress Tyock MacKay (Tigra), and Viscountess Victoria of the Vales of
Barnsdale, invite you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
We can be reached at (email address omitted).
