A hunting we will go, A hunting we will go… Wax your bowstring and come out to play at the archery range. In the morning we’ll set out a diabolical array of archery novelties, including several moving targets and a fl ying dragon. Syr Robert will set out a lunch board. Bring a potluck dish if you want to contribute to the food supply. Contributions are not mandatory. After lunch we’ll do a clout shoot (long distance), and move on to the hunt on the fi eld range with foam animal targets. You’re sure to get your fi ll of shooting at this one. Tokens will be awarded for participation and for completing the score card. This event is novice and youth archer friendly. No compound bows (SCA rules). No crossbows (club rules).
Site Information: Yolo Bowmen Archery Club, Yolo Grasslands Regional Park, event opens at 9am, closes at 6pm. There is a $5 fee payable to Yolo Bowmen for each shooter, 12 years old and under shoot free. Non-shooters are free. Donations to the shire will be gladly accepted.
