The Fools are coming! Cabin fever is rampant and the call has gone out for PLAYTIME! Come join us as we celebrate the return of warm sun and spring renewal in our own silly way. There will be a Heavy fighting "Fool's Pas" combined with the tournament for the Champion of St. Boniface, a competition for best tart with documentation and a Bardic Filk presentation. The contest for the "Fool of Winter's Gate" is for your best silliness, in garb, in action ... or as you see fit. A potluck dinner will be at 6pm. One meat dish provided by the Barony. Please bring a dish to share for 8-10 people and include an ingredient list for those with food allergies.
Site Information: Tanana Valley Fairgrounds - Agriculture Museum, (address omitted). Site opens at 11am and will close at 9pm. Site is DRY. Event fee is $7 for members ($12 for non-member adults), $25 cap for families; $5 for 17 to 12, 11 and under is free. Checks should be made to “SCA Inc – Barony of Winter’s Gate”
