It probably never happened but we’ll get creative any way! Come and enjoy the fun of Vikings vs. Japan with games of skill for both cultures including: a 5-stage tournament, shadow puppet storytelling and knots fashioned in both Viking/Celtic and Japanese style. An A&S competition will commence for the Best Dessert. There will also be a bunny hunt for the children.
Site information: Big Lake Lions Club (Mi. 3.7 Big Lake Rd.) The site opens at 11am and closes at 9pm. Site fee: Adults $10, NMS $5, Ages 5-16 $5, under 5 free, Family cap $30. Please make checks payable to "SCA Inc, Barony of Selviergard.” A lunch of soups and breads will be offered. Feast will be pot luck: please bring a dish with Japanese fl air by SCA name: A-H starch w/meat, I-P starch w/veggies, Q-Z fruit or veggie dish.
