Celebrate the last harvest of the season and the coming of the dark times! The hobgoblins will be about making merry with the traditions of the season. There will be heavy and rapier prize tourneys, with an additional contest for the most realistic death. Fighting will take place outside, so dress appropriately. Additional fun will include a root lantem carving contest (bring a tumip or other root vegetable to carve as only a limited few will be available), an A&S competition for "Heads" in any mode; Get ahead on the path to becoming a legend by bringing the heads of your vanquished enemies and display them. Heads may be made of any medium and will be judged by popular vote. And a Celtic theme Cooking competition: bring a Celtic theme dish to share with the populace as part of the potluck-judging will be by popular vote, include an ingredient list. Please bring finger foods for the sideboard and a treat to give to our treasures for trick-or-treat.
