Good Gentles! The time is come for the annual Canton of Borderwinds' Protectorate Tournament once more! This year is open to all authorized fighters who would strive to make their consort the Lady (or Lord) of Love and Beauty! (Please note: consorts must be present for all Protectorate participants). The fighting will begin at noon. For those just wanting to get some fabulous fitting in, there will be a Prize Tournament running concurrent with the Protectorate. Mid-late afternoon we'll be having a potluck/BBQ. Bring what you'd like to throw on the grill, and a side dish to feed 8 people. Breakdown by legal last name: A-H: veggie side dish; I-P: Dessert or Appetizers; Q-Z: non-veggie side dish. CONTESTS: Best chocolate Dessert (no coconut, please!),plus a host of others onsite. We'll also be having a silent auction, so if you're looking to clean out your SCA closet, we'll gladly accept donations.
