Tanana Valley State Fairgrounds,
From The Page (May, 2010):
Spring is in the air! The birds are singing, the flowers are thinking about blooming, the ground isn't frozen anymore, and the mountain passes are open again. That can only mean one thing: it's tourney season in Winter's Gate!
It is time once again to choose the Captain of the Barony's militia by right of arms, so brush the dust off your armor, haul out your pavilions, and come enjoy all that is fun in springtime in the Far North. There may even be a boar (or is it bear?) hunt!
There will be a boxed lunch auction (don't forget the Digby's Cheesy Goo!) The autocrat's whim is period dishes that use flowers (not FLOUR) as a primary component. The feast will be potluck, so please bring a dish that will serve from 8 to 10 gentles.
