From The Page (August, 2010):
Come join us in the Far North as we once again choose a mighty Captain for Winter's Gate's militia! After the tourney will be a flower tourney for both heavy and rapier with a potluck dinner in the evening. Please bring a dish that will serve 8-10. The Baron's whim is for oddball weapons (not sword and shield), and the Baroness' is for dishes made using harvest fruits. The autocrat's whim is for decorated sword sheaths for swords of any type (and yes, this does include the baby's toy foam sword). A&S will be embroidered leaf designs.
Site Information: Moose Creek Pavilion at Pioneer Park, corner of Airport Way and Peger Rd / Fairbanks, AK 99701. Site opens at 12pm and will close at 9pm. Event fee is $7 for members ($12 for non-members); ages 6-12 are $3, and children under 6 are free. Checks should be made to "SCA Inc - Winter's Gate".
Autocrat: Ellisif a Reikiavik (contact info omitted).
* The Page lists this as "Spring Captaincy", but ... obviously this is the Harvest Captaincy tourney ...
