From The Page (February, 2011):
It's time to shake off those winter blues and join us for an eveving of fun & games, dancing and socializing. We will be sponsoring some competitions, such as testing your poetic mettle as you Damn With Feigned Praise. Bring an appetizer or dessert to serve 6 to 8 as we will be sponsoring a Dessert Competition in 3 categories: 1. Period Dessert/Sweet: Documentation required...all you need is the recipe and its source information. 2 Perioid Dessert/Sweet: No documentation needed! Just make it look like it could have been Medieval. 3. Contemporary/Post-Period Dessert/Sweet: this could be the "traditional family favorite" out of Grandma's recipe box that was made by her Great-grandmother, your own invention, or a find from your favorite cookbook, magazine, or newspaper clipping.
Site Information: A nonalcoholic beverage will be provided by the Province. We will NOT be having a site fee but will ask for donations at the door with sign-in. The site opens at 7pm and will close at 10:30pm
Autocrat: Teresa Maria Isabella Castro (contact info omitted).
