It is the time of Yule, a time to dance, sing, and celebrate the long night away! Come hither and bring your tales, voices and music! Adorn yourselves in your best finery, for this be the time of revel and Yule is upon us! The Baron & Baroness of Fettburg welcome you into the warmth of friends to keep the cold at bay. This year our theme is "Lord & Lady of Misrule". We shall have small cakes, and the one who finds the "bean" first will be the Lord/Lady of Misrule and will choose their partner. Together they will preside over the festivities of the Fete. As usual the meats will be provided by Fettburg, both Turkey & Ham, along with breads. Wassail and cakes to see who will be our Lord & Lady of Misrule! Potluck- Please bring a potluck dish to feed ten, by mundane Last name: A-J: Vegetable or Fruit dishes; K-R: Side dishes; S-Z: Desserts. Competitions- Best Table Decorations, This is Fettburg's 34th Year so our theme will be Amethyst & Honey. Best Toast- To the Lord & Lady of Misrule and Baron & Baroness of Fettburg. A&S- The Blue Bowl will be Winter Fruits including dried fruits (that could have been imported) Classes will be held during the day on many subjects please check our website: (website address omitted) for details. Site Information: Manteca Senior Center (address omitted), Manteca, Ca 95337. This is a dry site. Site Opens: 1pm. Site Closes: 10pm. Site Fee: $4.00 plus NMS, if you bring a toy for toys for tots, you will get an extra ticket for the door prize. Please make checks out to "SCA, Inc. Barony of Fettburg."
