As the weather turns cooler, we turn away from the chilly outdoors and pursue the past-times best suited for winter months: creative endeavors of crafting and learning, and the camaraderie of the feasting hall. Join us for a day in which we indulge in the pleasures of both mind and body! Learn a new craft, hone your skills, share your knowledge, and end the day breaking bread in the company of your friends. Feast: The feast at Collegium is part meal, part class, and attempts to recreate dinner at in a noble Spanish household of about 1440. This event has been called the "Perfectly Period Feast." The class fee is $20, which includes all food and beverage, plus a class hand out. Pre-registration is required. For tickets, please contact Mistress Rose de (email address omitted). You do not need to bring feast gear, although you may bring a small eating knife or a personal toothpick. Everything else will be provided. Children 13-17 are $5, children 12 and under are free, and the family rate of $45 applies to two adults and two or more children. Please make all checks payable to "SCA, Inc., Kingdom of the West." Site opens at 9:00AM and closes at 10:00PM Saturday; classes will be in session 9:30AM-4:15PM and the feast begins at 5:00PM.
