La Prova Dura again opens her arms to all who would face the challenge of a full day of fighting the best warriors in the Known World. Bring your banners, your pageantry, and all the prowess you possess. Come for the fighting, stay for the feasting and merriment including a feast prepared by Else Hunrvogt with Prime Rib, Smoked Wild Caught Salmon, Rauchbier Braised Ribs, Grilled Asparagus, and Stuffed Mushrooms among other items.
This year we are pleased to also be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of La Prova Di Amore - Sunday's invitational tournament in which select fighters from Saturday's tournament will be invited to champion their consorts as a "Proof of Love". Both on-line and mail-in registration open February 1st. Please use ACCEPS (website address omitted) to pay by Credit Card or mail a check or money order to the autocrat. If using the mail in option please include a note indicating your email address and which ticket types you are paying for. Please remember that the feast fee and the site fee are separate.
