Heart's Revel -- Winter's Gate

February 27, 2010 (AS XLIV)

I.B.E.W. Hall,
Fairbanks, AK

From The Page (February, 2010):

You are invited to the Italian Renaissance for a day of dance, music, art, and camaraderie as we enjoy the return of the sun! The Captain's whim is a call for every gentleman to perform the most flowery and romantic mtroduction of his lady. Lady fighters are strongly encouraged to participate with their consorts. Contests include a period Italian dessert (many extra points for redacting a recipe yourself from one never done before) and best decorated sword sheath (rattan, rapier, foam weapons, or baby toy foam sword). A&S is a decorated pouch or bag of any type. Dinner is potluck finger foods.
