The Barony invites you celebrate the joyous season of Yule in the Baron's favorite hunting lodge! There will be plenty of contests and activities, including the 7th annual Rock, Paper, Scissors contest to decide the Lord and Lady of Misrule! The Heavy Tourney will begin at 11am with a Rapier Tourney to follow. Nursery Rhyme/Fairy Tale Dessert Contest - Create a dessert from your favorite childhood story. A&S Tree trimming contest: create an ornament made of natural materials (fur, leather, wood, feathers, etc) to decorate our Yule tree. Prize given for best child and best adult entries. Hot soup, cider, tea and coffee will be available throughout the day to warm you. Feast will be potluck, with meats and breads provided. Please bring a dish that will serve 8-10 people according to your birth month: January-June side dish/salad, July-December desserts.
Site information: Site is open from 9am to 9pm. Site Fee is members $12, children $8, under 3 free. Family cap $25, $3 NMS. Make checks payable to "SCA Inc. -Selviergard." Site is dry.
