Come one, come all, to the first SCA event held in the (mundane) Kingdom of Thailand ! The Incipient Canton of the Golden Plains welcomes you to a "Rumble in the Jungle". Join us for a day of informal classes, fighting (including the official Coronet Tourney) and other activities, followed by an evening feast and a Bardic Circle.
We will have various activities throughout the day, including: Classes, Heavy Fighting (including the official Coronet Tournament) A&S Activities, Last and First Baronial Court, Feast: A sumptuous international inter-time medieval feast will be prepared. Please RSVP at least 5 days in advance for feast space. Bardic Circle: bring your favorite song, poem or story to share, or simply a willingness to come and listen!
In addition, on Sunday, there will be tours of Bangkok or the ancient city of Ayutthaya (including the ruins of the 16th century Japanese and Portuguese settlements). Contact the event steward for more information.
Where: Glory International School (Sukhumvit 101/1) Site opens at 9am and closes at 9pm. There is no site fee. Feast will cost 300 Thai Baht per adult, 150 for children 12 and under, and free for those under 5. (Please No Checks)
