From The Page (November, 2009):
The Northern Marches invite you to their neck of the woods for a weekend of experimental archaeology and fun under the redwoods. The weekend will consist of workshops in metalworking including armoring, bronze casting and bead making, and textile creation, including spinning, weaving and dyeing.
The site is House Winceable, the home of Chandra and Seelie, and will open at 3pm on Friday and close at 5pm on Sunday. Friday we will set up workshop areas and work on mordanting fibers and fabric. Saturday and Sunday will be devoted to the art and/or science of Rust Stuff and Ruff Stuff.
There will be a poacher's feast on Saturday night, with House Winceable providing the meat and salmon. Please plan to bring a side dish or salad to share. There will also be a soup pot going for lunches and Seelie's famous coffee cake for breakfast. For crash space, please contact the autocrat before for Nov. 10 to make arrangements.
Autocrat: The Dread Viscountess Seelie(contact info omitted).
