Join us for a resurrection of Valhalla Day on the Green with some of the old games and some new ones! Fighting: ship to ship team list, holmgang, axe and shield list, spear list. Games: bear pit wrestling, spear throwing, tug-of-war, ship races, oar dancing. Arts: Viking haiku, riddles, storytelling, period style clothing contest, Hollywood style clothing contest. The park is tree shaded and grassy and rans along the river, nice for swimming but watch the kids! Pets on a leash are allowed. We have the tables and BBQ pits. Pavilions are welcome! Alcohol is permitted if you are old enough.
Site Information: Cottonwood Park / (address omitted) / Sparks NV. Site opens at 9am and closes at 7pm. The site fee is $5 for members, $8 for non members. Children 10 and under free. Please make checks payable to "SCA-Silver Desert". The West Kingdom Welcoming Committee will be there to help with non member fees.
