Fighters, let your consorts inspire you to greater valor and chivalry, all to make them this year's Lady or Laddie of Love and Beauty! This year's Protectorate Tourney is only open to local fighters, but the Prize Tourney is open to all heavy weapons fighters. There may be a rapier tourney if there is enough interest. All Protectorate entrants must have their consorts present to be eligible, per Crown Tourney Rules. The Canton will provide bread and the charcoal for the BBQ potluck after the fighting. Dishes to share suggested by mundane last name: A-H: salads or vegetables; I-P: side or main dishes; QZ: desserts .Contests: Most Chivalrous Act/fighter. Best Death, Best Mourning, Best Chocolate Goody (no coconut products), as well as the annual Tarnmist Bardic Competition, rules to be announced onsite.
Site Information: Waller Park, Santa Maria, CA. Site opens at 10 am, and Tourney will begin around noon. Site will close at Dusk. Site fee: $2 members $5 non members Children under 12 are free, however they must be under an adult's supervision at all times.
