From The Page (September, 2007):
As usual we will be having the tourney to select the next Captain of the Winter's Gate Militia. We will also be having a fabulous potluck feast. Children's activities will include Chainmaille.
This event will be the last for our current Captain Lord Angus before he make his year long pilgrimage to cradle of western civilization nestled on the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. So we hope that we will have a large turn out for our outgoing Captain and our dear comrade!!!
The Baron's whim is wheat free (gluten free) dishes. The Baroness' Whim is leaves in any mode. The Captain's whim is needlework created by a fighter. The Heart's whim is a period table setting with a harvest theme (extra points if modem items are not visible.) The Autocrat's whim is food of the Harvest. Feast is potluck so please bring a dish to share that feed 8-10 people. The site is discreetly wet.
