The Royalty of the West invites you to attend Grand Coronation. On Friday night there will be a room available with sewing machines and experts to help out with last minute sewing projects, or just to socialize. By special request and popular demand, Duke Henrik will be showing several old SCA home movies, including the "first party" film. A "Wandering Entertainment" Competition will be held on Saturday; any interested entertainers should contact the committee. The Duchesses' Ball will be held Saturday evening. There will be rooms available for classes and dancing. If you would like to schedule a room, please contact the committee. Site opens at 4 pm on Friday, 3 pm on Sunday (website address omitted) SCA Room Reservations at; (website address omitted). SCA room rates are only guaranteed until Dec. 21st, 2007. Room rates are: King & Queen rooms - $89 / night, Parlor suites $249 / night. If booking by phone, mention "Society for Creative Anachronism" when you make your reservation. If you are planning a party or Vigil, let the committee know your requirements after you book your room, and we will work with the hotel to make sure you get rooms on the 2nd floor, which is reserved as our "social/party" floor. Parking at the hotel is discounted to $5 a day for the SCA. Fees: Sign-in and will-call will be open Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. Site Fee will be $20 for Adults and $15 for Children ages 7-12, until November 15. After November 15 and at the door, site fee will be $5 more. Children 6 and under are admitted free. The non-member surcharge will be applied at the door and the West Kingdom Welcome Committee will be available to defray the cost of the NMS for those who wish to accept their hospitality. Pre-registration: Pre-registration ends on December 15th. The committee will be selling tickets at many events between now and December 15th, or you can order by mail postmarked by December 15th. Send a check made out to "SCA, Inc. - Kingdom of the West" and a SASE to: 12th Night AS 42, (address omitted) / Sunnyvale CA 94085. Please include names for all ticket purchasers. If no SASE is sent, or if the request is received after December 15th, the tickets will be held at Will-Call. A Special Family Rate of $50 (maximum 2 adults + any children age 7-12 residing at the same address) is available by pre-registration only ($3 Non-member surcharge will be applied at the door). Merchants: Please contact the West Kingdom Merchant Coordinator (email address omitted) for information on fees and space. The merchant hall will be open on Friday for setup and sales.
