Not only fighters, but all of the populace are encouraged to come and display their bravery, valor and skills. The following A&S competitions for War Points will be held: Goblet Cover; Period Camp Cooking; Most Period-looking Camp Repair Kit - contents and container; War Banners; "Bling" beaded jewelry; Rings in any mode; Brewing - ales and meads (documentation is a plus but not a requirement)
Ladies only - Kitchen Wars! Here's your chance to strut your stuff on the field! Weapons will be Boffer Kitchen Utensils... ladles, knives, rolling pins, spatulas, pot lids for shields... extra points if you make it yourself. Weapons must be padded, wrapped with pink duct tape and must pass the Marshal's inspection.
PARENTS TAKE NOTE! The Campground is located next to Tolsona Creek. Children will not be allowed to play in the creek unless supervised by an adult or near-adult. Please monitor them at all times.
Site Information: There is NO site fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted! Site opens at 5 pm Friday and closes at 5 pm on Sunday. Bring your own foods and beverages as there will be no food provided. Campsites are $15 each, RV sites are $24; the base rate is for a site with 2 people, additional campers at $2 each. Make your reservations directly to Tolsona Campground by phone, snail mail or email (contact info omitted). The campground is three hours from Anchorage and four from Fairbanks, (website addres omitted).
