Their Highnesses Eyvindr and Cyneswith, invite all to gather in the first glorious days of April, there to find those worthy to reign over The Mistlands in the coming months. Their tournament will be held on Saturday, at Their Highnesses Pleasure. Lists will open at 8 am on Saturday. There may be Friday night sign ups please watch SCA-West and related groups for more details on timing. There will be a Tournament of Roses on Saturday for those who wish more fighting.

Her Highness invites all to join Her in the Royal Pavillion on Saturday evening for a dessert potluck/reception beginning at 8 pm. If you are so inclined, please bring something to share. If not, please come and throw yourself on a brownie in defense of Her Highness's waistline. A keg of cider will be provided for any (above 21 years of age) who wish. On Sunday, a Tournament shall be held to determine an Unbelted Champion. This will be a Mad-Dog style tourney, in which points are awarded for each fight and for each victory. Members of the Chivalry are allowed and encouraged to fight as well, but they do not score any points. The purpose of their involvement is to experience and test first-hand the abilities of the unbelted fighters of the Principality. Fighters may fight up to three bouts in a set, but are not required to. One point is awarded to each fighter for each fight, and one point is awarded to the victor of each fight. A set of three fights involving a Knight will automatically award the unbelted fighter one extra point regardless of the outcome. The tourney will consist of two 45 minute periods, with a break of no greater then 30 minutes between periods. The victor of the Tourney will be declared the Harbinger of the Mists, for they are an omen of great things to come. At the beginning of the Tourney, fighters will have a chance to present themselves and their Consort if they wish. If the victorious fighter has presented a Consort, then she too shall be recognized and honored as his inspiration.
