It's time for an evening of pageantry, an Elizabethan Grande Masked Ball! Come in your Tudor and Elizabethan fashions and show off both your costumes and how light on your feet you can be across the dance floor. There will be dancing lessons and several contests including Best Allegory. Please contact the autocrat for a definition of Allegory. Prizes will be given to the member of the populace who correctly identifies the most allegories present, and to the person with the best mask. Ideas for Tudor style masks can be found at: (website address omitted). Punch will be provided, the populace should bring their favorite desserts or finger foods to share. A third prize will be awarded to the person who brings the best dish; no documentation is required. No feast gear is necessary for this event. This is a dry site.
Site Location: The Den at UAA University of Alaska Student Union (address omitted) / Anchorage AK 99508. Site opens at 4 pm and closes at 9 pm. Site Fee - $5 for members, $8 for non-members.
