It is time once again for the Crosston Dance Ball. If you enjoy historical dancing, here is your chance to twinkle your toes, flex your feet, nimbly amble, sonorously stamp, and lithely leap. At 1 pm in the afternoon, dance instruction will be led by our talented and graceful dance instructors. Then join our pot-luck feast at 5 pm following the dance instruction Bring your own delicious dish to share with at least eight. Historic recipes are preferred but not required. If you want to cook an historical recipe but are not certain what to do, please contact the Autocrat for helpful suggestions. Another useful resource is the west-cooks e-mail list (email address omitted) Starting at 6 pm the evening will feature numerous sets of dances to the fine playing of our wonderful live musicians and led by several dance masters.
