Protectorate Tournament -- Borderwinds

Join us for our 23rd Protectorate! All who wish to compete are invited to fight in our heavy weapons tournament to make their consort the Lady ( or Lord ) of Love and Beauty! This year, we will also be having a seperate rapier tournament at the request of the Lady of Love and Beauty and the Lord Protector, to be run by Lord Protector Baron Achmere. Those fighting for the Protectorate MUST have a consort present, and Crown Tournament rules apply. Those not fighting for the Protectorate won't be disappointed however, as a prize tourney will be run concurrently. Contests are Best Chocolate Dish - savory or sweet (please use NO Coconut products of ANY kind); Most Chivalrous Fighter/Person - this means everybody, not just fighters, are eligable; Best Death; Best Mourning; Baronial Bardic Competition - open to all Barony members (or others, with Baronial permission), and will be an onsite competition with subject to be determined that day. There may be more onsite contests for the populace's enjoyment.

We'll end the day with a potluck, and all are invited. Please bring a dish to feed 8, and whatever meat/etc you'd like to BBQ. Bread and charcoal will be provided by the Canton.

Site Information: Waller Park, Santa Maria, CA Site opens at 10 am and closes at 8 pm. Site donation: $2 members, $5 non-members.
