'Tis my utmost pleasure to invite you to our annual Court of Love, honoring our Lady of Love and Beauty, and her greatly inspired Knight, our Lord Protector! All are encouraged to dress in Elizabethan styles, or in the style of a character from any of The Bard's plays. The Tourneys will begin at approximately noon, with both heavy and rapier fighting. The 3rd Annual Tournament of the Heart will also be fought this day, with a cut and thrust and/or a Blood of Heroes Tourney should there be interest. There will also be a Dayboard for your snacking pleasure. Contests: The Lady's Choice for Garb; a Shakespearean Sublety and a Song, Poem, or Sonnet to the Lady of Love and Beauty. More contests will be announced onsite. The Feast of Love will begin at 5 pm, and carry on until 11 pm, with cleanup thereafter.
