The Forty-First Year

Harvest Captaincy -- Winter's Gate

September 2-3, 2006 (AS XLI)

Glass Park,
Ft. Wainwright, AK

From The Page (August, 2006):

Come one, come all! Activities will include the Heavy tournament for the Captain of Winter's Gate Militia. This list is open to all interested fighters but either the fighter or the consort must be a member of Winter's Gate Barony. There will also be a Baroness' Rapier Champion tourney and a flower tourney for both heavy and light. The Rapier list is open to all rapier fighters who are willing to help bring rapier fighting into our Barony. The fighters do not need to be baronial members. Other activities are an A&S competition for period foods using edible flowers and a competition for woodworking, any new piece. The children's activity is TBA, but boffer should be available. Saturday dinner is a potluck, so please bring a dish with enough to feed at least 6 people. Also, please list all ingredients as there are several food allergies in the populace. There is camping available at this site, if you wish to camp, please contact the autocrat regarding campsite reservations. The site is discretely wet.

Site Information: We will be at the Glass Park on Fort Wainwright Army Base in Fairbanks. Site opens at 10 am Saturday and closes at 5 pm Sunday. Site fee is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Children 12 and under are free. Make checks payable to "SCA, Inc - Winter's Gate." Any questions, please contact the autocrat

Autocrat: Angus McFarland (contact info omitted).
