Harvest Feast & Fighter Practice -- Tarnmist

November 18, 2006 (AS XLI)

Eagle Castle Winery,
Pasa Robles, CA

From The Page (November, 2006):

Yes, it's time again for our Harvest Feast. All are invited - come and take part in the revelry and feast on the products of the Barony. The feast will be from 6-10:30 pm. The menu will include roasts of beef and pork. There will also be chicken with lemon and parsley sauce, and vegetarian dishes. At least one dessert has chocolate in it. Some tickets maybe available at the door, but we have sold out in the past so advance reservations are suggested. If you have food allergies please let the Autocrat know in advance so special arrangements can be made.

Please do not bring alcoholic beverages (they could lose their license). Instead, wine can be purchased from the winery and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring banners to hang and make the hall more festive. Prior to the feast there will be a baronial fighter practice, from 12-4 pm. There will be a rapier prize toumey concurrently. There will also be games of skill available for your amusement. If any dance instructors would like to bring their music and wish to show the populace some steps it would be appreciated. (Our dance master has moved away and we need some practice). There will be a Heraldic Consultation Table available during the day.
