The Forty-first Year

Newcomers' Tourney and A&S -- Southern Shores

April 28, 2007 (AS XLI)

John D. Morgan Park,
Campbell, CA

From The Page (March, 2007):

You are cordially invited to join us in activities for almost every interest and activity level! We encourage everyone to bring anyone who is relatively new or someone who is coming back after a sabbatical from the SCA. If you are a current member, come learn something new or compete in the prize tourney! The tourney is divided into three sections: those who have been fighting less than 1 year, less than two years, and a Prize Tourney open to all fighters. We are also having our Fourth Annual Used Armor Garage Sale. We invite those with cast-off/well-loved armor to bring it to sell or donate, remember that one man's scrap is another man's armor! Not into fighting, or have a newcomer who has other interests in the SCA? Well not to worry, because again this year we are including a huge Newcomers A&S class schedule. These will be basic classes on a variety of topics not just for newcomers, but anyone who is interested in learning a new craft or addiction! Other activities include a raffle, games, and A&S display tables with more to be added as we get closer to the event. See (website address omitted) for updates and the class schedule as the event approaches,

Site Information: The site opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm at John D. Morgan Park / (address omitted) / Campbell CA 95008. There is no site fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted.

Autocrat: Francisco Acero (contact info omitted).
