Emanuel First Baptist Church,
From The Page (November, 2006):
Come and join us in celebrating the season with a Masked Ball! From 9 am - 1 pm, there will be a workshop so you can make or finish your mask. There will be supplies for you to use but you will need to bring anything special or specific you wish to use in the making of your mask. Dance instruction will begin at 2 pm. This is your chance to learn some new dances and polish the ones you know. Starting at around 5 pm, we will lay out the sideboard and the Ball will begin! Bring your masks. We will be dancing the dances taught during the afternoon and whatever others strike our fancy. The sideboard is a "finger food" potluck. There will be ice available to keep cold items cold, and there will be electrical outlets available to plug crock-pots or the like into to keep warm items warm. The Province will be providing bread, water, and a hot beverage. For more information, see our website: (website address omitted).
