Crown Tournament -- Kingdom of the West

Greetings unto the populace of the West. Their Majesties, Uther and Kara, invite you to witness the tournament to determine Their new Heirs. The List Table will open at 8:30 am.

Their Majesties are hosting a party on the Eric Saturday night. It will have a Casbah theme with much fun and games, dancing and general revelry. Games will be themed for the seven deadly sins and for those groups that wish to camp on the Eric, priority will be given to those who are willing to host a game.

Queen's Tea/Siege Cooking Competition: Their Majesties are on Crusade to the Holy Land and it is Her Majesty's desire to meet her populace. Teams of two will be given the ingredients to prepare refreshments for Her Majesty and the populace. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Soteltie, Populace's Choice, Judges' Choice, and Queen's Choice. For more information, see (website address omitted).

There will be a Queen's lemonade-hot chocolate stand. This is a fund-raiser to benefit the Page School. There will also be, for the first time, a West Kingdom Rapier Champion Tournament, which will be held Sunday moming.

Site Rules: There will be a Quiet Camping area back by Mulberry Gate 4 which is to the left of the Exhibition Hall. There will be a hall available for Court and exhibits in case of rain. Please remember that if it does rain that cars will not be allowed to drive on the grass. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. We have special permission to have dogs, so please be diligent about cleaning up after them. Showers are available. There will be no horses at this event.

Site Information: Tehama District Fairgrounds / (address omitted) / Red Bluff CA 96080. Site opens at noon on Friday (10 am for Merchants) and closes Sunday at 5pm. Site fee is $12 for members, $15 for non-members, $6 for children ages 6-12, and ages 5 and under are free. Make checks payable to: "SCA, Inc. - West Kingdom". Those who wish to have an RV on site will pay directly to the Fairgrounds and the fee is $20 per night.
