The Forty-first Year

Championship Tourney -- Fettburg

July 8, 2006 (AS XLI)

The Haggin Museum and Victory Park,
Stockton, CA

From The Page (July, 2006):

Join us in choosing our Champion at Victory Park. In addition to selecting our next Champion, this event will also serve as a demonstration for the closing weeks of the Haggin Museum's Armoury Exhibit (website address omitted), and a day of Tournament in the middle ages. The day promises to be filled with a variety of "historical" fighting styles (armor as worn, counted blows based on weapon types) and so on. Bring your banners and best livery to display for all to see!

There will also be a variety of classes and games held throughout the day to amuse both Anachronist and local public. Archery is not allowed at this event.

Site Information: The event fee is a donation to go toward materials used in hosting classes for members and public. We will be at Victory Park (address omitted / Stockton CA 95203). This is a public park with free parking. Event opens at 9 am and closes at 6 pm.

Autocrat: Zaid al-fallah hajji (contact info omitted).

Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
