It is Time once again for Tudor! The Lady of Love and Beauty and her Lord Protector will be presiding over Their Court of Love and Beauty, with an evening tea with dancing and merriment will be at the heart of this celebration of the Courtly Arts. Tea and punch will be provided with the populace bringing their favorite desserts or finger foods to share.
There will be dancing lessons and several contests including best Period dessert with documentation and best Love poem with extra points given for courtly style of presentation. A surprise contest will be announced the evening of the event. Tokens will be given throughout the evening to those individuals seen practicing the Arts of Court Love.
Site Information: First United Methodist Church at (address omitted) in Downtown Anchorage. Site opens at 4 pm and closes at 10 pm. Site fee is $5 for members, $8 for non-members, $3 for children 5-14, children under 5 free; $20 family cap. Make checks payable to "SCA, Inc - Barony of Eskalya"
