Do you love period dance and are eager for a chance to dance the night away? Are you new to dance and want to give it a try? Do you have 12th Night garb that didn't quite get finished in time to wear? Then this is your big chance to realize your dreams: come to our annual Dance Ball and show off your finery - while learning and performing popular period dances. A day of dance led by our fabulous dance instructors will be followed by a sumptuous feast prepared by Chiara la Trombottiera, and an evening of dance to the sweet tunes of our wonderful live musicians. You can learn dances beforehand by attending dance practices on Wednesdays in Crosston or Thursdays in Darkwood.
Site Information: The event will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church (address omitted / Santa Clara CA 95050 / phone omitted). There will be no site fee, but donations will be gladly accepted at the door. The site opens at 10 am for setup, dance teaching begins at 1 pm, the feast will be begin at 5 pm, dancing begins at 6 pm, and the site closes at 10 pm. Details for the feast will be provided in December's Page and on the Crosston Website. While there is no fee for the feast, please RSVP your intended attendance to Baccus.
