Golden Gate Park,
San Francisco, CA
From The Page (June, 2006):
Come out and enjoy a wonderful day of archery, bardic arts, and other fun games. We will have an Archer tournament starting in the morning (sorry, crossbows are not allowed by municipal law). A bardic competition, for the purely ceremonial post of the Bard of Cloondara, will be held in the afternoon. The topic of the Bardic competition will be "clever heros". Throughout the day, if you are not an archer or bard, we will have those tradition silly Cloonie games, and a potluck. There is plenty of parking off Fulton, and we are just a half block in on 47th. If you park by the site, you will be ticketed if you park on the grass.
Site Information: Archery range in the western end of Golden Gate Park off 47th and Fulton at the Golden Gate Archery Field. The gates open at 10 am and there is no site fee!
Autocrat: Cormac MacKay (contact info omitted).
