Birchwood Community Church Fellowship Hall,
From The Page (February, 2006):
As Winter tightens its icy grip upon the land, let us gather together to ward off the isolation of gloomy days and spend time together feasting, fighting and talking long into the night. Be prepared to try your storytelling skills at Mistress Flanna's Word Game. Start working now on your entries for the Arts & Sciences contests: Handmade journals, sponsored by Baroness Katarzina Porajski; Period Pickled Veggies, documentation a bonus; and illumination contest on site. Scrolls and illumination materials will be provided during the quiet time after the tourney and before our evening meal. Finished scrolls will be given to the Baronial scribes for future awards. There will be heavy weapon and rapier tourneys, and activities for the kiddies.
We will be holding a Silent Auction to help bring in a guest teacher. If you have tangible items that you wish to donate, please contact the autocrat.
Site Information: Birchwood Community Church Fellowship Hall, North Birchwood Exit, New Glenn Highway. Site opens at noon, closes at 9 pm. This is a dry site. Site fee is $8 for members, $11 for non-members, $4 for children 5-12, and children under 5 free (family cap of $20).
Our feast will be a potluck, with the Barony providing the meats & breads. Please bring a dish to share according to your modern last name: A-F, main dish; G-M, salads; N-R, veggies; S-Z, desserts.
Autocrat: Helen of Avebury (contact info omitted).
