From The Page (June, 2005):
Their Excellencies, Bjami and Annora, invite you to come and join us in welcoming new friends to the Modern Middle Ages! We will have a fine day of fighting, including a tourney to select our Baronial Guard, and members of the West Kingdom Guild of Defense fighting their prizes for advancement. As time permits, we will plan on dancing and an early-evening bardic circle. Please bring your arts and sciences projects with you, to work on and display. All are encouraged to bring period sun shelters; if you wish to set up a more substantial pavilion, please contact the Autocrat in advance. We will have a potluck feast, stews and bread provided. There will be a competition for best period dish, documentation required; this will be judged by newcomers (for taste), and by the Baron (for documentation).
Site Information: The event will be held at the Brotherhood/Sisterhood Park picnic shelter, at 48th and Van Buren, in Anchorage (easily accessible off Northwood Dr). Site opens for members' set-up at 9 am, and for newcomers and guests at noon; site closes at 9 pm. Site fee is $4 for members, $7 for non-members, and $2 for children 3-12.
Autocrat: Bjarni Eðvarðarson í Jórvík (contact info omitted).
