Manteca Senior Center,
From The Page (June, 2005):
Get your pens, brushes and inks ready for Cynagua's Third Scriptorium. It will be a day of fun scribing and illuminating. There's something for everyone to enjoy or teach including instruction for beginning calligraphers, brush exercises, scroll assembly line and discussions on styles of calligraphy and designs. We are asking participants to consider a donation for supplies during classes, or bring some supplies to share. Also, the autocrat will accept donations to go toward the cost of holding the scriptorium. For those new scribes wanting to bring some supplies of their own, contact me for a basic supply list of items at least three weeks prior to the scriptorium. There will be a potluck lunch in the early afternoon. Please bring your own drinks and a dish, which will serve 6-8 people. Remember, paper plates and napkins, along with plastic utensils - will be provided. There are several fast food places; grocery store and craft store (Ben Franklins) close by
Site Information: The site is the Senior Center in Manteca. The site opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm. There is no site fee. First class starts at 11 am.
