Ever wondered how to get rid of your cats flea's without chemicals or how to fix that nasty headache naturally? Well here's your chance. The Guild of St. Hildegard is hosting their first Herbalist Collegium. There will be a variety of classes available covering herbal medicine, cosmetics, pet care, gardening, cooking/preserving, and hopefully dyes. Classes are 1.5 hours long, with a break from noon to 1pm for lunch. PLEASE NOTE: Several classes will have extra course fees running from $2 to $5 for materials. Email the Autocrat for a list of these charges and the final class schedule after August 1. Plan to bring material fees to the class to pay instructor. No pre registration is necessary.
Site Information: The event will be held at the Sierra Arden United Church of Christ at (address omitted). Site opens at 8:30 am, with the first classes starting at 9 am, and closes 5:30 pm. The site fee is $5 for members, $8 for non-members, and children under 12 years free. The church we are using has a small parking area, with lots of street parking available. Please leave your pets home. Checks payable to "SCA, Inc - Cynagua."
