From The Page (January, 2005):
Each year the War Collegium tries to grow based on the needs of Western fighters. This year, classes will begin at 9 am. These out-of-armor classes will broaden your understanding of what wars require. Classes will include advanced war marshalling and a strategy and tactics preparation class, and possibly others. After classes there will be a war unit tourney. Fighters need to be ready by 11:30 am. Units will be finalized and the tourney will begin by noon. There will be only short breaks, so be prepared for lots of fighting. Units will face each other for a best two of three and will be judged on a number of criteria. Honors will be presented for the best in each category, best overall, and one unit will be selected as the "favorite foe" by the others. After the unit tourney, we will organize into 2 sides. Each will have an overall commander for each set of batties whose job will be to organize and execute a plan. There will be a short time allotted between battles for commanders to adjust plans and get their side ready to fight again.
Site Information: Site opens at 9 am and closes at dusk. Site fee is $5 for members and $8 for non-members and will include a lunch and a hospitality pavilion for non-fighters. Those interested in volunteering for setup, water bearing, videotaping, or any other capacity should contact the autocrat.
Autocrat: Alexandyr Stirling (contact info omitted).
