From The Page (October, 2004):
The harvest is in, and the hunt is up in vineyard. This year's Feast will take place in the fields, as hunters gather to dine after a hunter's archery tournament. The baron and baroness will also choose their bard. This year's feast will be a potluck, with the Barony providing a hearty main course. Please bring a side dish to share. The archery range will open at 9 am for practice, and competitions will begin at 10. The feast will begin at 2 pm, with the bardic competition during the feast. The bardic competition will consist of three pieces (1) a period or period-style piece (2) Competitor's choice, and (3) an archery-themed piece. Reminder: the piece does not need to be limited to just a song or a poem. The winner will be the Bard of Vinhold for the coming year. There will also be our Cordial competition.
