Wasilla Senior Center,
From The Page (March, 2005):
"Beware the Ides of March!" is one of the most famous and neglected statements that changed the world. Come join us as we celebrate this infamous event. So, dress in your finest toga and sandals and prepare to have fun. We will be celebrating in the finest traditions of Rome by having a dagger-only tournament for both heavy and rapier. Contests will include: grape peeling, best toga, best Roman accessories, best death on the field, and best death by poison (simulated, of course). Lunch will be provided, and there will be a fine feast of Roman delicacies served in the Roman fashion, so bring your low tables, rugs and plenty of cushions, as civilized Romans reclined to eat. Site is discreetly wet.
